Adding interactivity to slices

From the Object inspector, you can add the same interactive features to a slice object as you can add to a hotspot: a URL link, alternate text, and a target URL.

You can assign a URL link to a slice so that clicking the slice area in a browser navigates to the page with that URL.

To assign a URL link to a selected slice object:

In the Object inspector, enter an absolute URL or relative URL:

	Type a URL in the Link text box.
	Choose a URL from the Link pop-up menu.
	Choose a URL from a URL library in the URL panel.
